WEBMASTER'S NOTES:
"The South Woods, as everyone living in the south eastern United States knows, is a beautiful place. They have many beautiful, as well as interesting sights there. There are also some very strange areas in the South Woods, that afford, quite frankly, some mighty strange sights.
One such place is named the Faerie Forest of Five Oaks Manor. With permission of the owner of Five Oaks, we shall take a tour with Buddy Bear, the host of Buddy Bear's Cats' World, acting as our guide. He was rather reluctant to lead us through the forest, after having made the trip once before. It seems --- well, lets let Buddy tell us the story."

Five Oaks Manor, as most of my friends know, is home to my three younger furbrothers, MikiCato, Tegar, and Rowdy, my human Mom and Dad, and, of course Me! I'm Buddy Bear.
It's not very large as manor houses go, but it is a wonderful house, with lots of good things to eat and all my favorite toys, and warm places in my human's bed where I can cuddle and snuggle when the morning is chilly. Yeh, and there's lots of windows for us to look out and watch the world.
I'm going to tell you a story; one that happened to me back when I was a big kitten, almost a cat, with ideas of discovering and conquering the world, catching all the mice, chasing all the butterflies, and of course defeating all the 'bad critters' that might try to venture into our part of the South Woods. This story is one of the reasons my brothers and I have become 'house cats' 100 percent. No more outside for us! Mom and Dad said so! And I think they are right, although, sometimes, we all make like we wanna go out.

The Oak trees, for which our home is named, stand five strong in front along the country road. Most of the other trees on Five Oaks our Dad planted himself, and are getting to be quite large. The residents of all these trees, and the many bushes and flowers out there, are a varied bunch I can tell you. We even have a colony of Faerie living around the Frog Pond. I think some even live IN the Frog Pond with all the frogs, and the water flowers and plants. I am not too familiar with that part of the Manor grounds, except for the one trip I made one beautiful Summer's afternoon.
The flowers were blooming, and in places the grass was getting to be a little out of hand. My Dad is not one to keep things too tidy; says "its Mother Nature's house, so we'll let her live in it her way just a little bit."
