ictures of Princess Ebony are scarce at Five Oaks Manor, and the pictures we do have are not of top quality, just everyday snapshots of the little cat we, at times took for granted.  She was that much a part of our family, our daily life, and therefore she was just expected to be there all the time.  She was.  We never had more than a box camera, most of the times in latter years it was a disposable camera.
Here are the remainder of the pictures do we have of her.  Our little Granny Kitty, Princess Ebony is so engraved in our hearts and memories though that the pictures are, to us, really not necessary.  They are here so our friends and guests can see the precious little cat who looked after us while she was with us, and is still looking over us, just this side of Rainbow Bridge.

She was always ready to help around the house, had to inspect everything new, and was especially helpful at meal time.
She was her Mommy's helper, her two boys, Tom and Terry, were her Dad's helpers.
Outside activites, in the last few years of her life were limited, surprisingly enough, by the little Cat herself.  She preferred the yard to the litterbox, and would ask to go out during the day.   But night time was cuddle and sleep with the humans in the big bed, always next to, or on top of Dad.
Checking the side yard.
Checking the front yard.
Ready for her Nap!
Mommy and Princess deciding if they should wake Buddy from his nap in the sun for treats.
She loved to climb this Maple tree we planted for her.  She would not share her tree with Tom and Terry, but the little newcomer, Buddy Bear was allowed.  He, however was not a tree climber, so she had her tree to herself.
It was always Princess's job to supervise the outside activities of the her humans.  She really was upset when she was relegated to the house when the big old red lawn tractor was running, but she loved taking a sunbath sitting on the thing.
This is one of the oldest pictures we have been able to find of Princess.
These are the last pictures taken of the little Lady Kitty.  She was waiting for her Mommy and Dad to get ready for bed.  She always perched on Mommy's chest of drawers till the big folks were settled in, then she would pounce for her love, puttering, cuddling, and finally snuggly sleep.
These last three pictures are not thumbnails.  Somehow I have misplaced the originals, which of course were prints.  At present we only have the smaller, cropped pictures you see here.
The little one was always on the scene when quality time ..... tea, nibblets, and small talk were being shared around the table in the fun room.  She was not one to demand, or for that matter to even expect handouts.  She just wanted to be near us all the time.
