~ Buddy Bear's Cats' World's Verse and Things ~
Once I knew a beautiful cat.
By day, upon the window she sat.
Her coat was white, her eyes were light,
And on a star and moonlit night
They Shone so very bright.
This very cat was a pacifist
And most believe her ways an enigma,
except for me.
For I am that cat
Who sits by night upon the mat
Or by day upon the window sill
And I hold so very still.
Especially at night
When the moon is shining bright.
And I repent nothing
For I waylay no human feet
That walk by me
So I can bite.
