WEBMASTER'S NOTES:
    A little history of the present owners of Buddy Bear's Cats' World is in order I'm thinking.  The present owners, by the way, are Buddy Bear, MikiCato, Tegar, and Rowdy.  They are CATS actually.  They are our Four Mouskateers of Five Oaks Manor! And Five Oaks Manor is our Home, nestled in the center of the South Woods, USA. 
    Join us now as we open our book of verse and story, turn to page one, and begin our journey into the part of SouthWoodsUSA we call "Cats' World"

           nce upon a time in the land known as The South Woods, there lived a young couple (with children). They were adopted by a beautiful Black Angora/Persian castaway.  The man named the cat Contessa because she was so regal.  She raised his children, and sent them off into the outside world.
    Now Contessa had a beautiful daughter, with white paws and mask, a lovely Tuxedo.  The smallest human named  her Fancy Face !  She had one litter of kittens.
    One dark night, she left the house, as was her nightly custom, for a stroll through the neighborhood.  That night she  never returned.
    Fancy Face left behind a beautiful daughter, the image of Contessa, who continued the raising of this family.  She ruled the home with a firm paw and a loving way.  The world was a wonderful place to live.      
    She sent the last child off into the world, and settled down with her two sons, Terry Lee, and Jon Tomas, to continue her duties.  
    After the family moved to the northern part of the South Woods, life continued in peace and harmony.
    21 years after her birth, she departed for Rainbow Bridge for her well earned rest, knowing she had done an outstanding job.  She had spread much love and happiness where ever she went, to whomever she met.
    This little cat's name was Princess Ebony.
    Princess Ebony's successor, a beautiful  gray and white wooly-bundle of stocky "Ragamuffin" mix named Buddy Bear, now continues Princess' job.  He had joined her July 28th, 2001.   He was a castway the Lady of the family adopted because, as a wee kitten, he was the runt of the litter..  Buddy will be 4 years old June 1st, 2005.  Princess raised Buddy well  
   Buddy soon gained an adorable assistant.   MikiCato, born May 2nd, 2003, a black shorthair mix, also a castaway, came home with us to a warm welcome, and the knowledge that he was 'home' to stay.
   Although, not of the same blood lines as Contessa, Fancy and Princess, he is, as were the other Black Cats in our lives -- the dominant tease and  heartbreaker.  But, seriously, aren't they all extra good at that?
   Tegar, an orphaned creme colored Tabby, born April 1st, 2004, was rescued by the loving mother of this family.   Buddy was immediately left alone in his job of caring for this family while Miki took on the raising of the new youngster, who shortly after arriving in his new home, was joined by a tiny, loving little Tuxedo named Rowdy. 
  Rowdy was born May 20th, 2004, also a castaway.  His first few months were a big battle for his life.  The lady of the house, and Rowdy's older brothers, brought him through with flying colors.  He is now healthy, happy, and the picture of mischief.  More often than not, you will find this little guy curled up in his human Mom's arms wearning a look of sheer contentment.
   Now the family is complete.  The home is full of love and happiness. 

   The story does not end here, but we will take a break in the writing for now.  Life continues, and so does Buddy Bear's World, as well as his duty to continue what was started decades ago; to care for, and love all that lives in this house .... his human family, and of course his 'fur-brothers' and 'fur-sisters!'

NOTE:  Since the first posting of this page we have had  two additions to the Cats' World family.  Their names are Spooky (called Princess), and Smokey.  These little Lady Kitties' stories will be appended in the very near future.

  This Web Site has been built for, and because of these, and all little Cats, and other specie of pets, all over the world.
