Folks say Cats can not learn tricks.  I say that is an old wives tale.  Buddy spent many hours teaching me the ways of a cat, and I, in turn taught him the ways of the human.  Along the way,
while we traded tricks, he learning one he dearly loves.  He will shake hands, high five, and actually fuss till you do touch paws/hands with him.

~  Cats  ~

Sweet-talk artist, malcontent
Quiet little innocent,
Agile gymnast, silly clown
With Cheshire grin or solemn frown,
Busybody, stay-at-home
Fearless hunter free to roam,
Alley-fighter, diplomat . . .
So many faces has the cat.

WEBMASTER'S NOTE:

This time we are writing at the present date of Monday, July 15th, 2008, the day before the anniversary of the date of my marriage to my lovely wife of 45 years, Lisa.   That has no bearing on the content of Buddy's album here, but for the fact Miss Lisa was the one who rescued Buddy Bear from the heat of that day at the Flea Market back seven short years ago.
With that little note taken care of, we continue to delve into Buddy's box of photos and memories.
_________________________
Buddy is (as of June of this year, 2008) now 7 years old, and quite settled in his ways.  He has thoroughly trained his Mommy, his three furrbrothers, and if we were to allow it, he would also take on the training of the two little furrsisters that have adopted us, and now live in our laundry room, on our Cat Porch (car port), and on top of the Continental when it is under the shade tree beside the Cat Porch.  Oh, and the Webmaster is certainly in that list too.
Buddy is a house cat and that's that.  He's happy inside, as his breed was intended to be.  He had a couple weeks outside, but did not make the grade even occasionally visiting Mother Nature.
As I prepare this page for publication, the little guy is curled under the counter, head on my foot, sound asleep.  I am his pillow, he is my cuddle pillow when we make it to bed.  His choice.  I don't complain.  We're happy.
Now to the pictures.  They will not be in chronological order.  But, I will try to leave notes for each particular shot when the memory is there.
    Enjoy!

A few random shots taken over the years as the little guy and I cross paths in the night.  Yes, I do tend to have a camera handy since so many years of Buddy's life were not photographed

Here are a pair of the earlier pictures taken
of Buddy during the short period of time he was allowed outside.  Now, except for Vet visits, Buddy does not leave the house.

Buddy is totally in love with his Rescuer, Miss Lisa.  He may be Dad's little Buddy, but he is his Mommy's cuddle Bear, her sweetheart, and he daily lets her know just how he feels.  He's become an expert at giving a neck hickey too.
